The aim of this diploma thesis is to compare prices of ornamental plants founded by simplified and cost method of valuation. Comparison was made on a sample of garden situated in the functional unit with a terraced house and the land built over by this building. Based on the obtained results the influence of different location and age of the trees on their price is evaluated. The thesis also defines basic terms and explains issues which are closely related with valuation of ornamental plants.
The influence of sheep grazing on species composition and biomass production of grassland
JINDŘICHOVÁ, Tereza
This bachelor's thesis is presented in the form of a comprehensive literature review, focusing on grazing and permanent grasslands in the Czech Republic and the evolu-tion of their areas. The review provides an in-depth analysis of grazing systems, including the characterization of individual facilities and equipment for pastures, and the identification of the various factors that influence the grazing landscape. Additionally, the thesis presents valuable insights into the vegetation of these grass-lands, including species composition, optimal composition for different types of livestock, and palatability of vegetation for different types of livestock. The nutri-tional and water regimes of grasslands, including their indicators and distribution, are also discussed. Furthermore, this thesis presents a comprehensive characteriza-tion of sheep grazing, including the significance of breeding, breeds and their dis-tribution, ethology, population in the Czech Republic, reproduction, care for lambs and the herd, and diseases associated with sheep. The thesis also assessed the spe-cies composition of agrobotanical groups and the proportion of empty spaces, and monitored the production of biomass and dry matter. The mowing system was found to yield the best species composition and the highest production. Overall, this literature review provides valuable insights into the management of grazing and permanent grasslands in the Czech Republic, offering practical guidance for land managers and farmers, as well as serving as a solid foundation for future research in this field. The empirical findings suggest that the mowing system implemented on meadow no. 2 yielded the highest production among the evaluated grasslands. This outcome underscores the importance of evidence-based management practices in optimizing the productivity of grazing and permanent grasslands. To this end, the implementation of targeted measures, such as reducing grazing pressure, applying appropriate fertilization practices, overseeding with desirable species, and shorten-ing the grazing period, are crucial in promoting optimal grassland productivity and sustainability.
Vliv kvality objemných krmiv na náklady spojené s výživou skotu
Jurková, Lydie
The diploma thesis defines terms such as permanent grassland, clover grass, fod-der. The concepts are explained and clarified in the contexts that can be found between them. In connection with these concepts, the issue of cattle is mentioned in the work, in more detail Holstein cattle in the Czech Republic. The work is based on one-factor and multifactor analysis of variance (P <0.05), then the Post-hoc test was used, more precisely Tukey's test (P <0.05). The company where the analysis was performed – Hanácká zemědělská společnost a. s. (HZS Jevíč-ko), has area of grassland262.04 ha. Of these stands, four species were included in the analysis, namely permanent grassland renewed, permanent grassland not rene-wed, alfalfa grassland I. useful year and alfalfa grassland II. utility year. The analysis determined nutrients crude protein (CP), crude fiber (CF), acid detergent fiber (ADF) and neutral detergent fiber (NDF). The stated values come from our own laboratory analyzes of grass and alfalfa stands and on the basis of their results feed rations were compiled according to the requirements for dairy cows weighing 600 kg with a milk yield of 28 l FCM. After the compilation of these batches, an economic evaluation of their profitability in the individual sampling dates and a comparison with the date of the company's actual harvest followed. From the point of view of the feed ration, the first one was evaluated as the most suitable date for the harvest of permanent grassland, where compared to the actual harvest the savings are made (with 895 dairy cows) in the amount of CZK 1,211,964. The amount of savings in permanent grassland not renewed would be CZK 2,904,141. In contrast to these two stands, it does not show alfalfa grass I. useful year between the first date and the real harvest date no price difference. It manifested itself only in the alfalfa vegetation vegetation II. useful year, in the amount of CZK 427,944.
The analysis of growing system of fodder crops for fodder and energetical biomasss production in selected farm
FUČÍK, Karel
The bachelor thesis deals with selected agricultural crops for fodder and energy-energy purposes on the selected farm. The thesis deals with the evaluation of yields and analysis of forage cropping systems on arable land, where the main crop is maize (Zea mays), and also focuses on permanent grassland. The arable land was grassed with a permanent clover-grass mixture consisting of 7 grass species and 1 clover spe-cies. The main aim of my chosen bachelor thesis was to evaluate the development and harvesting of forage stands on both arable land and stands belonging to the TTP, then to evaluate their yield and also to focus on the assessment of plant composition. The plot where the restoration and sowing with clover-grass mixtures took place was also monitored. The chapter evaluating the results of the permanent grassland (TTP) includes an as-sessment of the three selected plots where the distribution of individual clover and grasses was monitored. At the same time, the thesis also focuses on the evaluation of the arable land treatment and the condition of the stands where maize (Zea mays) is grown for feed and energy purposes. The main indicators monitored are soil prepara-tion, sowing style, nutrition and, last but not least, harvesting with yield.
Typological classification and categorization og grasslands in selected area and recommendation of sutable grassland management
KADLECOVÁ, Jana
The aim of this thesis was to create the botanic snap of the chosen locations, which were meadows, grasslands, pastures and also fallow grass areas, to determine the area coverage of three main agrobotanic species i.e. grass, herbs and clover, to process it with the statistcal software and determine the method and intensity of use and fertilization of individual locations and suggest the suitable prato-technical methods. The cenological structure of the locations has been observed and described using botanic snaps. The prato-technic method used were documented for each of the locations and evaluated the influence on the cenological structure. The research was performed in locations Vřeskovice, Čeletice, Městiště in the region Pilsen, former district of Klatovy. In each location the botanic snaps were taken from 3 areas of about 5 x 6 meters each. There were determined the area coverage of grass, herbs and clovers and calculated the mean indication value of humidity. Mean indication value of humidity is the parameter usable for determination of permanent grassland management and utilization. The data from the research was elaborated in software MS Excel. I recommend to manage the analyzed permanent grasslands as follows: 1. The meadow Vřeskovice behind the sewage cleaning station - additional sow of perennial rye grass, meadow clover and white clover. 2. The meadow Mstice - total recovery alternatively conservative prato-technic measures - manure fertilization for about 20t/ha and additional sow of meadow and white clover and grass - red fescue, blue grass and perennial ryegrass. 3. The meadow above the transformer station Vřeskovice - keep on current management od additional clovers sow. 4. The pasture Čeletice grazed by horses - keep on current management or additional sow of red fescue, tall fescue and timothy grass. 5. The meadow Městiště with combined utilization by cattle pasture and mowing - keep on current way of use. 6. The pasture Vřeskovice grazed by cattle - keep on current utilization or additional sow meadow and white clover. 7. The pasture Vřeskovice grazed by sheep - keep on the current utilization, in future after the reduction of dangerous knapweed to decrease the amount of pastured animals. 8. The fallow meadow Vřeskovice behind Petrovický neither mowed nor pastured - proposed mulching twice a year for about 1 or 2 years, then pasture or pasture of extensive cattle breed (Galloway) or sheep or periodical mowing once or twice a year. 9. The fallow meadow Vřeskovice trench at the farmhouse - leave as a fallow meadow improves the biodivesity, optionally to mow once or twice a year from estetical reasons.
The influence of animal fertilisation and application of ferment on plant species composition of permanent grasslands
LHOTSKÝ, Jan
The presented thesis is focused on the drohové representation of grasses, herbs and weeds on permanent grassland fertilized animál fertilizers and digest with biogas stations. The work is based on intensive observation period from 1. 11. 2014 30. 10. 2015. In the following pages you can read on the use of forage crops in agriculture, about the importance of energy, about the importance of grassland in the landscape, ecology and tourism ventures. Furthermore, the work deals with the care of permanent grass, their formation, choice of suitable forage species in these locations and the choice of species by the use of sward. No small part is gocused on Biogass station, on source substrátes and digest output and its use. The main part of the resolves and deals with the correct handling of the fertilizer, their descriptions, and the importance of the species. There is also a reference concerning the legislation and when it is possible use of the fertilizer, which can be applied, regulas conservation etc. This section describes the results of my monitor three different fertilized grass stands permanently in similar or the same climatic conditions. We can find here describes the variation in account growth, composition, density, yield, guality and fitness for a particular purpose. Unfortunately, there is also a negative effect of weather on described vegetation in the summer of 2015, when we hit the tropical temperatures and drought. For this reason, my observations of very different from other studies, especially in the summer and Autumn period.

The analysis of status and pasture exploitation in selected farm and recommendation of suitable grazing system
ŠTAFKOVÁ, Kateřina
The aim of the thesis is to assess an influence on a grassland composition and grassland condition with different grazing method, frequency of grazing and animal composition. A basis is a literature review which contains a brief description of productive and nonproductive function of a permanent grassland, an grazing importance of grassland maintenance, a way and intensity of grazing and The experiment was performed in Carlsbad region (Czech republic), near Fojtov township. The experiment contains botanical images of three different grazings, cattle, horse and sheep. At these grazings where made two two-year cycle observations (2013, 2014), on the 15th of June and on the 13th of September. At these grazings where three different observation areas with different water regime and with different agro-botanical composition. Gained data were used to calculate diversity species indices (Simpsons and Hills), site water regime and a grazing forage value. Data were also statistically processed. A part of this experiment was also to calculate grazing load for a whole grazing period and for one grazing cycle.
The evaluation of seed properties of Lathyrus pratensis and Vicia cracca and their employment in permanent grasslands.
KRATOCHVÍLOVÁ, Eva
The theme of the thesis are climbing legumes meadow vetchling (Lathyrus pratensis) and tufted vetch (Vicia cracca). The literature search defines watched kinds of legumes and their occurence in permanent grassland. There is summarized seed growing of legumes because of its problematic production. Legumes are valuable components of grassland especially thanks to fixation of nitrogen and high capacity of proteins. The practical part is focused on observation of floristic compilation of watched locations for three years. Particular locations were compared from the point of view of changes in land management and weather. Pods and seeds of observed kinds were collected and evaluated in single years. Experiments of seed's field germination were done after different period from picking and in case of various treatment.
